Before a product is released, it is tested against the common conditions encountered in real life. This approach spares producers the risk and cost of recalling a product. Not to mention the loss of reputation for releasing a bad product. Unfortunately, there are cases in which the real world randomly throws a curve ball that product testing was unaware of. That may cause the product recall.
The key is to ensure the chances of failure in untested circumstances are minimised by understanding the properties of the product, its limitations, and other factors. That way, a warning label is added should something extreme occur. Self-awareness is like product testing and recognising our and other’s limitations. To know what to expect from ourselves, others, and possible unexpected events. Self-awareness helps us understand the world, enabling us to maximise the benefits and minimise poor outcomes of life’s circumstances.
The ability to see how different situations may impact these parameters is called perspective. Perspective helps us recognise things we missed in previous experiences and learn from new challenges better. This approach helps us remain open-minded and optimistic that we will overcome challenges. Coincidentally, such attitudes and processes allow us to solve problems better and expand our perspective, endurance, knowledge, skills, and resilience. Creating a positive cycle of more growth and awareness.
