What is Self-Discovery

1. Do not rely on others to tell you what you are meant to be. Instead, keep working on yourself to help you identify the right people to help you, not hinder you.
2. Let this season be full of meditation as we recognise our shortfalls and improve ourselves. It will not be easy, but it is achievable.
3. A man (or woman😁) who knows themself understands how to interpret life’s events within the context of their life and destiny. The same event that has brought death to some has brought life and meaning to others.
4. Perspective can add value or subtract from it. That is why it is essential to understand yourself and use your experiences and vision to move forward. It starts with one seed of enlightenment. It takes one person to challenge you, and the journey is on.
5. ” Adversity introduces a man to himself.” Albert Einstein. Whatever challenges you faced during the year have allowed you the opportunity to know yourself better and appreciate what you are capable of.
6. ” To Thine Own Self Be True.” William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Unless you live life as yourself, you are merely escorting others on their way to their destination (assuming they even know where they are going). Let’s not leave our lives and dreams vacant and derelict.
7. Show up for yourself. Be courageous enough to turn down a ride to a place you don’t want to go if your destination is elsewhere, even if you must walk there.
8. Honour your life in your small way by living it.
