Meet Sally
Sally is a young woman in her early twenties. She possesses an unassuming appearance and experiences a significant degree of insecurity coupled with financial difficulties. In addition, she is not particularly intellectually gifted. Aware of her limitations, Sally highlights the shortcomings of individuals whom others regard as attractive or intelligent, consistently expressing negative opinions to undermine their perceived superiority.
Meet Sam
Sam is a young man who lacks both intelligence and physical attractiveness. Although not financially affluent, he knows wealth could enhance his social standing. He often directs derogatory remarks towards the women he perceives as unattainable, harbouring resentment towards their perceived perfection. Sam expresses disdain for those blessed with beauty and wealth, convinced that their popularity is solely attributable to their advantages. He does not hesitate to vocalize his contempt, ensuring his targets hear derogatory comments. He frequently alludes to the characteristics others can’t change, such as their appearance and attire, reiterating these points to diminish their self-worth, mirroring his feelings of inadequacy.
Sam And Sally Draw Each Other In
Sally harbours an affinity for Sam due to his tendency to demean those surpassing her capability. Conversely, Sam is drawn to Sally because she poses no significant threat to his self-esteem. In their interactions, Sally identifies suitable targets, while Sam disparages and displays a lack of respect toward them. Their shared derision generates amusement for both parties. The hatred they share for others is far more intense than any affection they may hold for one another. Their relationship is fundamentally rooted in a mutual connection founded on envy and destruction. They would rather be with better people, but they are the best each can do. Consequently, they collaborate to ensure that neither surpasses their current level of worth.
The Sum of The Whole Is Less Than the Individual Parts
They create a cycle of hate and disrespect, finding amusement in each other’s mistreatment of others. They have no desire to grow or improve themselves and make no effort to change their situations. Their connection offers comfort, but their unwillingness to work hard holds them back. Their victims start to see their toxic dynamic and hope for better. Sam and Sally suffer more together than they did apart. They enjoy bringing down the spirits of those around them but don’t realize their actions have little impact on others. They remain trapped in negativity, and most people choose to ignore them. Only those who share their malicious views are interested in their conversations. ………….
