Understanding Divine Jurisdiction in Our Lives

Refined by Fire โ€” Justice, Calling, and Living Under Divine Jurisdiction

๐ŸŒพ The Wheat and the Chaff: Justice Through Refinement

Both wheat and chaff undergo the same refining process, but their nature determines the result. The grain is kept, but the chaff is discarded. This impartial divine process shows God’s justice is not arbitrary; it is precise and purposeful.

(Matthew 3:12 “His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”).

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Living Under Divine Jurisdiction

As we remain in God’s presence and follow His word and timing, we are positioned to be at the right place at the right time. Our prayer should be for patience, discernment, and obedience as we wait on the Lord.

(Isaiah 40:31 “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.”).

Through praise and worship, we gain strength for what lies ahead. Each test reveals and removes what is no longer needed for our final state.

๐Ÿ™Œ Called and Qualified by God

God does not call people already qualified by worldly standards. Instead, He qualifies those He calls and equips them for what only He foresees.

(1 Corinthians 1:27-29 “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised thingsโ€”and the things that are notโ€”to nullify the things that are, that no one may boast before him.โ€).

When God goes ahead of us, even those who do not believe can sense His presence. It is like a protective force field around us. He arrives and prepares the place, the hearts, and the minds before we get there.

๐ŸŒ Operating in Both Realms: Spiritual and Physical Alignment

As believers, we live under spiritual laws that existed before the physical world. In both spiritual and physical realms, we remain under the shadow of the Almighty. We work and live according to His jurisdiction.

(Psalm 91:1 “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty”).

God sends rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous, showing His fairness in providing for everyone. No one is left without sustenance, even when the righteous live among the unrighteous. This divine provision also gives the unrighteous a chance to repent.

(“That ye may be the children of your Father who is in Heaven. For He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” Matthew 5:45).

๐Ÿ”ฅ Trials Without Favouritism: Grace Is the Difference

When both the righteous and the unrighteous face trials without favouritism, the righteous must rely on grace to persevere. This process ensures that only those proven through testing can access the blessings and rewards prepared for those who overcome challenges.

๐Ÿ“Œ Conclusion: A Life Refined for Eternal Purpose

Our journey is shaped by God’s eternal purpose, moving us from divine calling to spiritual refinement.

Through trials, grace, and obedience, we are transformed into vessels prepared for eternal return.

Let us walk with discernment, praise, and trust. We know that God qualifies, preserves, and guides us.
