Managing limited time
Time, or the lack of it, is the most typical challenge many learners face. Unfortunately, many fail to cope and resort to poor learning systems that compromise the quality and integrity of the learning outcomes. This problem must be met head-on because the challenges continue in the workplace and homes. Managing one’s time to include all the essential personal and professional growth activities is possible. However, it requires knowing what you want to achieve, commitment, prioritizing and purposefulness.
The skills above are required to live consciously and deliberately. Learn what you need at every stage and carry that to the next phase of your life. Many learners struggle because they are learning afresh every day, which is more complicated than revising what you know. Applying what you learn in your personal life and community is one of the best ways to keep the knowledge fresh and relevant. Ask yourself if you are eating, living, and working with your newfound skills and knowledge. If not, how can you ensure you use and not lose what you acquire? We need to align ourselves with our purpose. Keep building and adding levels to your building. Do not keep digging foundations at new sites. The project will run out of resources before it is completed.
Integrating priorities
Whereas most people leave many aspects to chance and luck, success can be maximized. First, ask yourself what you want the most and is available for those things. You do not need to attend every social event; you do not need to be best friends with everyone; you do not have to read every textbook. Committing time and resources to what you are sure you want is more manageable. Integrate your interests, fields of study and relationships that bring your objectives to pass.
The integration of these aspects can negate your goals or enhance them. Make active and deliberate choices that improve your abilities as a person, a family member and a professional.
Weighing opportunities
Many opportunities may come your way, but weigh them carefully to see how they align with your purpose and plan for your life. Be wary of opportunities that bring financial gain at the expense of your integrity, time for personal growth and skill sets that have nothing to do with your abilities or passion.
It is easier to walk a hard road when you do it wholeheartedly and with certainty. Challenges will always be present, but self-contained people can reinvent themselves and find ways to thrive in any circumstance. Challenges are tests to help us improve ourselves and reveal our potential.
Is there hope for us
This generation can change the narrative that education is wasted on Africans. Build on things that will outlive you so the posterity has a foundation to stand on. Aim for wealth and purpose over riches and self-interest. Live in a way you would have no regrets if you died tomorrow. Remember that everyone has the right to live their best possible life.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
